In a significant move for the financial technology sector, Revolut, the largest fintech company in Europe, has partnered with Polygon Labs to propel stablecoin remittances for its extensive user base. On November 18, 2025, Polygon Labs publicized that it had successfully integrated its services with Revolut. This integration specifically brings enhanced functionalities for customers in the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA), enabling them to conduct transactions using USDC and USDT stablecoins, along with POL transfers. Having gone live in December 2024, this collaboration has already facilitated over $690 million worth of transactions using Polygon's blockchain capabilities.
Enhanced Payment Efficiency for UK and EEA Users
Revolut’s inclusion of Polygon’s capabilities within its app provides users near-instantaneous transfer speeds and significantly reduced transaction fees compared to traditional methodologies. One of the notable features of this partnership is that it makes blockchain transactions seamless, with POL tokens being accessible for trading and staking directly within Revolut's platform. Additionally, the integration includes a fiat on-ramp to Polygon wallets, courtesy of Revolut Ramp. This opens up fresh avenues for Revolut customers, who can now harness cutting-edge blockchain solutions without dealing with the complexities usually associated with digital currencies.
Polygon Strengthens Its Real-World Payment Credentials
The collaboration is a testament to Polygon’s growing stature in the decentralized finance arena. Highlighting Polygon's prowess, the network reported hosting 153 million stablecoin transactions over just 30 days, with a massive $3.6 billion stablecoin supply present on-chain. These figures reinforce Polygon’s role as an efficient and cost-effective payments network, further demonstrated by its integrations with major corporate entities like Stripe and Flutterwave. Marc Boiron, the CEO of Polygon Labs, described the partnership as a step towards making 'blockchain payments invisible to the end user.' Anticipate more ecosystem expansions and product releases as part of this continuing synergy between Revolut and Polygon.
