A “100% up to $500, 35x” banner does not tell you how much you have to put through the games. We pulled every active casino bonus on Cheetah Bonus — 547 offers at 109 reviewed rooms, snapshot 8 November 2026 — and turned the wagering lines into turnover. The live, auto-updated cut of the same data sits on the CheetahBonus Wagering Index. This page is the study: what the median actually costs, why blackjack wrecks the same 35x, and how to use the calculator on each bonus card before you deposit.
Median deposit-match on a $100 deposit: $4,500 of qualifying bets. The middle half of those bonuses sits between about $2,300 and $7,000.
Key findings from 547 bonuses
- $4,500 is the median turnover to clear a deposit-match bonus on a $100 deposit.
- 35x is the typical requirement. Half of all bonuses sit between 30x and 42.5x.
- 21.9% ask for 25x or less. Only 3 of 547 have no wagering at all.
- 34.6% apply the slots requirement to the bonus and the deposit. The same “35x” then means roughly twice the betting.
- Where a bonus sets separate game rules, 97% make blackjack heavier than slots — typically 10 times heavier.
- Exclusive offers are lighter: median 27x against 35x for regular packages.
- Casinos with no licence on our file ask for more: median 40x against 35x at licensed rooms.
- 48% of no-deposit bonuses cap winnings from the package.
Those figures are a snapshot. The index will move as rooms add and drop offers. The method does not.
Why the headline 35x is not one job
Take a 100% match and a $100 deposit. If 35x applies only to the bonus, you need $3,500 of qualifying stakes. If it applies to bonus and deposit together, you need $7,000. Same banner. Two different weeks of play.
Game weighting then stretches it again. Slots usually pay 100% toward the bar. Blackjack in this set is typically ten times the slots line, which turns a “35x” into a table grind most players will never finish. Live games with 0% contribution never move the meter. If you came to play tables, a slot-weighted welcome is the wrong tool.
Britain capped licensed operators at 10x bonus funds in January 2026. That ceiling does not rewrite this sample. Most of the 547 offers are not UK-licensed packages. A 35x Cheetah exclusive and a 10x UK welcome are different shops. Do the sum for the licence you are actually under.
Three lines to read before you opt in
- What the multiple applies to — bonus, deposit, or both.
- Which games contribute 100%. If it is not the game you came to play, skip the offer.
- Whether winnings from the package are capped, and whether the minimum withdrawal sits above that cap.
Every bonus card on Cheetah Bonus that has a percentage and a wagering rule ships a calculator. It uses that bonus’s own game list and B / D / B+D flags, not a generic slots guess. Open it before the visit link.
How we measured it
We counted active casino bonuses that are not hidden or expired, at casinos with a published review that are not closed or blacklisted. Sportsbook bonuses and bonuses with no wagering data on record were left out. For each bonus we used the lowest requirement any game has, which is usually slots. Licence groups follow the same tiers we use for the Cheetah Score.
The full, living tables — medians, distributions, exclusive vs regular — are on the Wagering Index. This article is the 8 November 2026 cut, written so the numbers have a lead, not just a dashboard.
Play only with a bankroll you can lose. You need to be 18 or older, and you need to be somewhere the casino is allowed to take you. If it stops being entertainment, close the game. The index, the exclusive, and the 35x banner are optional. The stop is not.
